I think every girl can agree with me here, you can NEVER own too many pairs of leggings. I mean…the versatility is endless, and if you’re anything like me you might just spend 99.9% of time in leggings or other types of workout clothes. I think the proper term is actually athleisure? Sounds about right.

Anyway, I’m no fashion aficionado. I like to keep things pretty simple…BUT I do know some good workout gear from some bad ones, especially in terms of comfort, practicality, and use in the gym. So, without further ado, here is my list of my current favorite workout clothes!

NVGTN Seamless Leggings

You guys. These are literally the best leggings on planet earth. I found out about NVGTN on Instagram a while back, and always had my eye on these leggings. Once I bought them, I immediately understood the hype. They’re by far my favorite workout item in my closet. They’re super comfortable, they hug & cinch in all the right places, and are 100% squat proof… no more see through leggings ladies! The best part is they’re not outrageously priced either! I got my black speckled ones for $48, and even convinced one of my friends to buy herself a pair too. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be buying these leggings in more colors when they release again. Oh yeah, one more thing…they only sell products during their “launches” they hold every few months. You might not be able to get them exactly when you want, but I promise they are worth the wait!

NVGTN Joggers

Alright so I’m sure based on my last review you can already tell where this one’s going. Once again, NVGTN did not disappoint with these joggers! They’re beyond comfortable and I find myself wearing them both in and out of the gym on a regular basis. They’re a tighter fitting jogger, which I’m a huge fan of. Sometimes the more loose-fitting joggers look too much like pajamas to wear in everyday life, but these are the perfect blend of comfy and casual! I scooped mine up when I bought the leggings and paid $45 for the black ones.

Gymshark Sports Bras

I wasn’t super sure how I would like Gymshark’s sports bras since their leggings tend to be hit or miss, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I got two for Christmas, one very basic one and the other with more adjustable parts. Overall, I find that they’re both super comfy and easy to workout in. Not too tight, not too loose, great support, and nothing pulling or scratching at you like some sports bras can do! If you’re looking to splurge a little on some nicer sports bras, I’d definitely recommend checking out Gymshark’s. Usually they’re priced somewhere between $25-$45 a pop.

Marshall’s Tank Tops!!!!!!

I’m sure many of you were expecting this whole list to be some type of fancy workout branded gear but NOPE! Again, if you know me, you know I’m obsessed with Marshalls. They have EVERYTHING…and their workout gear does not disappoint! I think just about every workout tank I have is from Marshalls. They have so many different options and they’re all probably no more than $10-15 each. If you’re looking for some cheap basics, just drive to your closest Marshalls and start shuffling through some racks. You won’t be mad you did.

SPLURGE: Lululemon Zip-Ups

So, I know Lululemon is super expensive, but I guess it has to be since it’s like the holy grail of workout clothes? One item from Lululemon I’ve grown to really love are the thin zip-up or quarter zip jackets. You know like the thin ones you can wear on a nice spring day? I’ll just post a picture somewhere…anyway I constantly find myself reaching for this jacket when I’m in a hurry. You can just throw it on with any pair of leggings and it always looks great! Super comfy, super lightweight, and always a nice casual option for when you’re on the go. I’ve never actually worked out in this jacket though. I personally prefer to workout in tanks or sports bras, but I’d probably lean more towards keeping this jacket out of the gym…especially since its over $100.

Hope you guys enjoyed my first ever clothing review! Maybe one day I’ll learn some new vocabulary and get better with my product descriptions!
