How SWEAT Created an Entire Brand on Instagram.

SWEAT is the world's largest women's fitness community. SWEAT is a fitness brand that began on Instagram by widely known Instagram fitness influencer, Kayla Itsines. On her personal page, Kayla has over 10 million followers and uses her personal brand to promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle overall.

Throughout her career in fitness, Kayla has created two programs that have been very successful. Her first program is called the Bikini Body Guide, and her second most
widespread program is called SWEAT. This program originally began as "Sweat with Kayla," but was later shortened to SWEAT with the addition of two other fitness influencers Kelsey Wells and Sjana Elise Earp. Together these three women created the most successful women's fitness community by combining each of their focuses and abilities.
Without Instagram, the SWEAT brand would be nowhere near what it is today. In fact, the Instagram page acts more as the brand's website than the actual website itself. The SWEAT account has over 415,000 followers and has direct links to its three trainers, as well as a way to purchase the training systems they offer.
The content posted on their Instagram features virtually everything health and fitness related that one could imagine. Geared towards women, the account uses bright colors, quotes, and images that reflect the healthy lifestyle they promote. From pictures of workouts on the beach, to motivational quotes, all the way down to a simple picture of some avocado toast, their page has it ALL.
SWEAT has successfully captured the brand image they've been promoting since the start of their company. Instagram has played a vital role in helping the company establish this brand image and continue the growth for all these years. I truly believe that if SWEAT marketed their brand on any other platform besides Instagram, the company would not be as successful as it is today.
